At the turn of autumn and winter, we present an exhibition in the heart of Helsinki that offers a different experience by day and by night.

The “Luminous Threads, Woven Motion” exhibition continues and expands on the collaboration between artists Niina Mantsinen and Jani Hietanen from the early 2025 project “Forest, Walk with Me.” Here Niina Mantsinen’s Finnish rugs are combined with Jani Hietanen’s generative moving-image projections, creating a cross-disciplinary artistic dialogue. The combination of rug, projection, and sound gives the works a dual life. In the daytime, viewers can experience the texture and warmth of handwork. At night, the projections and sound reveal flowing, intangible forms. Audiences are invited to an immersive experience between nature and technology, tradition and contemporaneity.
