Our current exhibition Textures of Time: Wandering in the Space will held in gallery GAo ShAn 11 February – 8 March. The exhibition presents Finnish textile, fiber, and jewelry art, with the chosen artworks spanning from the 1950s to the present day. The works of renowned late artists are showcased alongside contemporary artists who embrace traditional techniques, while exploring innovative approaches to these practices. The shared space creates an intriguing timeless narrative between the past and the present. An invisible dialogue between the artworks in the space emerges through the silent observers—the artworks by Raija Jokinen (born in 1960).
