Matti took part and was awarded in International Craft Competition, Itami in 2001 with his futuristic Scifi series combining silver, semi-precious stones and computer parts. This brooch he wanted to keep apart from the competition pieces for his private collection.

This is a unique jewellery that the gallery received from the Matti Hyvärinen family.
